Avalon House is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and courtyards that provide the perfect setting for residents to relax outdoors or enjoy meaningful connections with others. An on-site café offers a variety of refreshments, adding to the warm, community-focused atmosphere.
Residents can relax in spacious, beautifully appointed single suites, each with a private ensuite. Large windows fill the room with natural light and offer serene views of tropical gardens, courtyards, and surrounding bushland. Every suite is fitted with a state-of-the-art king single bed, flatscreen TV, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning, ensuring maximum comfort and modern convenience.
There’s a variety of delicious and nutritious meals on the menu at Avalon House, created by our Hospitality Services Team and dietician. Meals are prepared by our in-house professional chef using fresh seasonal produce, and a choice of dishes will be offered at breakfast, lunch and dinner, designed to cater to all tastes. Served in one of our many dining areas or as room service.

In line with the seasons – SPRING, SUMMER, AUTUMN & WINTER, our team publishes four newsletters each year from each one of our homes. The newsletter is available for residents and their families to let you know what has been happening. As well as a great communication tool, we will share photos from recent events and general news. You can find your copy here to download, via email or in print from your home.

Until this assessment has been received by Thompson Health Care, you will be charged all contribution fees in full.
Permanent residents also pay a deposit, paid either as a Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD)
or an additional Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) or a combination of both RAD and DAP.
