This elegant aged care home is situated in the heart of Randwick, close to the shops, beaches and cafes. Milford House offers premium accommodation with high care, permanent and respite places with 24 hour Registered Nursing Care.
Thompson Health Care has transformed an 1876 Victorian residence into a sophisticated aged care home, providing the luxury of present day quality care, while retaining the grandeur of a Federation Manor.
Inside you will find the aura of elegance and old world charm continuing with beautifully appointed suites, each with its own private ensuite, state of the art bed, Wi-Fi and air conditioning.
Features include original stained glass windows, ceiling roses and stately archways. Our residents enjoy entertaining guests in the traditional Victorian lounge with its own café, or choose to enjoy the gentle sea breezes on the upstairs outdoor terrace.
Meals are prepared by our in house professional chef, using fresh seasonal produce, and served in one of our many dining areas or as room service.

Newsletter
In line with the seasons – SPRING, SUMMER, AUTUMN & WINTER, our team publishes four newsletters each year from each one of our homes. The newsletter is available for residents and their families to let you know what has been happening. As well as a great communication tool, we will share photos from recent events and general news. You can find your copy here to download, via email or in print from your home.
Activities Calendar
Each month our Activities Team skilfully prepare an itinerary of diverse and interesting options including outings, physical, artistic, musical and general events to enrich and invigorate our community. To plan a visit or see what’s happening make sure you get your calendar, unique to your home. The calendar is available in print form or download it here on the website at the start of each month.

Until this assessment has been received by Thompson Health Care, you will be charged all contribution fees in full.
Permanent residents also pay a deposit, paid either as a Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD)
or an additional Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) or a combination of both RAD and DAP.

Higher Everyday Living Fee applies to premium or superior services which are not included in the Department of Health, Disability and Aging Standard Services List from 1 November 2025.
