Last Friday, 26 June, Avalon House welcomed residents, families, friends and members of the local community for a successful Open Day filled with connection, celebration and an opportunity to experience everything the home has to offer.
Visitors were invited to enjoy guided tours of the home, explore Avalon House and experience firsthand the welcoming environment, beautifully appointed spaces and strong sense of community that make the home so special.
The event was made possible through the incredible support and collaboration of team members from across Thompson Health Care. From planning and preparation through to welcoming guests on the day, it was a true team effort and a wonderful reflection of the care, pride and dedication shared across the organisation.
A special thank you goes to our catering team, who prepared a delicious selection of beautifully presented canapés and refreshments, helping create a warm and welcoming experience for all who attended.
Residents also enjoyed a special visit from Kindifarm, with the animal experience bringing moments of joy, connection and plenty of smiles.
